Is it me, or is Microsoft advertising Xbox Live Gold on the dashboard a bit too much?
I've certainly noticed a lot more people with Silver accounts lately, me included. I cancelled earlier this year for two reasons:
#1: Waiting for next gen
#2: Possibility of going to PC and PS4
Anyone else cancelled this year and if so, what are your reasons?

I moved to a different apartment where the only working phone jack, and therefore internet access, was in the kitchen and my entertainment corner was in the living room. As I have a non-Slim 360 Elite from early 2010, I don't have wireless access. I physically can't connect. I'll re-up after moving (again), and buying the Durango/720 and Destiny.
