Democrats should call the Republican bluff
Republicans threaten to use the filibuster to block stuff in the Senate. I'd like to see their bluff called. See how long they are willing to drag something out before they start damaging themselves in the process. Even if it took months, and months, and months...

1 RispondiOP, the filibuster doesn't exist anymore like you think. Republicans haven't threatened to use the filibuster, they have used it several hundred times over the past few years alone. You don't have to stand up and speak forever anymore to filibuster. All you have to do is say, "I'm filibustering" and then the Senate needs 60 votes to break that filibuster.
