I probably feel the most comfortable with C# and Python at the moment, or at least those are the languages with which I've done my biggest projects. I'm currently working on a Pygame in Python that will end up being a Bullet Hell Clone. Currently the little ship in the lower right follows your mouse, and the Pentagram Boss spins ominously, and the thing in the upper left just flashes random colors, an effect I plan to use on the bullets. I'm about half the way towards being able to create and destroy bullets and animate them on the screen, and after that I need only implement collisions and some UI and I have a working game that should prove to be very amusing to tinker with, coming up with increasingly elaborate bullet patterns and such.
