Seriously, I treat my Xbox microphones like they're my baby's, and they last MAYBE 2-4 months tops. I would buy an $100 dollar mic like turtle beach or some other brand, but they echo like holy high hell. Do they make these things with paper or something? I guess this is a way to get a quick buck off of me, by making them have the durability of a News Paper in a rain storm. I put them away, I make sure the wires don't tangle up, and for what. God Dammit!
