Society's money addiction disgusts me.
Helping out the homeless? Giving people a place to stand? Doing good in this word? So long as it doesn't cost [i]me[/i] a penny.
This mentality pisses me off. Why do people hate welfare? Because they have to chip in an extra ten or so dollars a month. God forbid you show some compassion. And yet we always toot the trumpet of "poverty is bad", and "goodwill toward all men on Earth". God, that's phony.
Anyone else agree?

agreed. also, people abusing the system is the exception, not the rule. and even if it [i]were [/i]the majority of cases that doesn't mean you shouldn't help those who actually need it.
