Why do Americans think that the US is the greatest country in the world?
Is there a reason? Or, much like a child who has had some traumatic bowel motion experiences, are they afraid of #2?

5 RisposteKinda hard to argue when our country was founded by people fleeing other countries for freedom. Religious oppression was still a big deal in europe and many other places and still is today. Most people flee to America so I'd have to say its the best place because its where everyone wants to go.
