3 RisposteI never understood why bungie constantly buffs hc. They have always been the very best weapon primaries for pvp. They are the only weapon archetypes where aim assist is near max, their ttk is consistent, they do a ton of flinch and they are one of the best weapons for peek shooting. Now with the added range, they are the ultimate weapon archetype. Ive been trying to use pulse rifles, auto rifles, smg’s and side arms and I instantly realized there is just no point in using them when my hand cannon is miles better at every range. I always enjoy pvp whenever we get a rifle meta. This includes auto rifles, smg’s, pulse rifles, heck even bows are viable in these types of meta. Anytime a hc is meta, thats all we can literally use. It’s boring as heck.

Unfortunately they've always been able to perform at virtually any range, with only super close range being slightly more challenging, against sidearms or smgs. Needless to say they were a problem in D1, still are now. Likely always will be.

I've always felt the hand cannons were OP. They've always had insane range and damage and in my view have always outdueled any other gun including scouts.I don't think this is new.Ive been playing Crucible for a few years now.I can usually tell what kind of game it will be by the amount of hand cannons in the game. If my team doesn't have at least some, we're gonna get crushed.

Hand cannons have always had too much range. Way too much for the type of gun they are anyway. Max range on a hc should be the 180 range or auto rifle range
