Game drops to 30 FPS and crashes after Alt+Tabbing
Whenever I Alt+Tab out of Destiny 2 or switch to any other window, the game immediately drops to 30 FPS while running in the background. When I return to the game, it often freezes or crashes completely. This issue happens consistently and makes multitasking impossible. I want the game to maintain normal FPS while unfocused instead of forcing a 30 FPS cap that leads to instability and crashes It never happened before Resetting the computer to factory settings .

You should not be alt tabbing D2. Use Alt+Enter to switch the game to windowed mode, do whatever, then alt+enter again to switch it back to fullscreen. While in windowed mode I adjust the resolution so I get a smaller window as well. I have zero stability issues this way.
