After Eof launch and before EoF I truly thought Bungie was incapable of disappointing me further. Bungs, broken launch, bad campaign, soft sunsetting, an intolerable grind, tone death Twids and Twabs, all leading to the collapse of the player population. But having played through the a renegades campaign, I think I am done. The f@%£!ing incessant yapping from characters who do everything from discussing about their love lives, to talking about their daddy/mommy/ trust issues has completely broken my investment in this game. Having to listen to Eido tentativley ask for dating advice on a public channel after I just finished mass murdering everything on mars was ridiculous. I am not sure the current narrative team understands why people play a scifi postapocalypse shooter about immortal godkillers facing universal extinction. Do they think the majority of people who play this game do it because they want teen angst and drama? I literally watched Eris, the HIVE GOD OF VENGENACE, act flustered after kissing Drifter in public. You know, the Guardian who crawled out of the Hellmouth after her fireteam was slaughtered, defeated Xivu Arath and killed Savathun. Stopped playing for a week. Can't muster the motivation to finish the new dungeon.
