Regarding Crucible: The next PvP mode testing should test a "Killstreaks increase respawn timer" rule.

Literally as the title says. I want to see in the next public playtesting for any crucible mode a game rule that, the more kills you make without dying, increases your respawn timer. So if someone goes on a 10-killstreak rampage, they should be hit upon dying with a longer respawn timer as balancing out for their prior killing spree. That actually adds depth to the gameplay in Crucible, making people with a killstreak a priority target to take down, so they are taken out for some time from the game, allowing better and more natural recoveries. Alongside giving worse players than them a chance to get some kills on their own too. And in turn, the higher your own killstreak goes, the more of a gamble it becomes for you to die by each kill you land. I have something in mind that each COMPLETE SOLO KILL inflicted above a 5-player kill streak adds 1 second to the respawn timer. 6s is the baseline respawn timer in control. It caps at 14s added maximum (so 20s respawn if going high enough and counting the base respawn timer) Taking my last control match as an example, where someone on the enemy team managed to get a 17-player kill streak (assuming none were assists past the first 5 kills), this would mean this player would get a 18 seconds respawn timer (6s baseline, 12s due to the streak kills inflicted) after being killed, effectively punishing that player for dying, giving the lobby some relief overall from that person hogging all the kills and (as mentioned) allowing the other players to get some kills in turn too. Now, I know this sounds at first read quite unfair for the player with the kill streak, being forced to wait 18s before being able to play again. But consider the following. Someone like the player I mentioned with a high kill streak might get only one per game that high. So it would be in most cases just 1-3 long waiting times for that player, while everyone else benefits (more or less depending on team) from that player "sitting it out on their bench" until they can return. When you look at it from a less skilled players perspective, it's not really fun either being the "ego boost jumping board" for better players. And remember, Crucible has a big issue to be attractive to new players. Such a game rule, even if just for a single specific mode, might make it more interesting for new players as well to try PvP.
