Short and simple- I tried warning you all a year ago we were headed down a path of irreversible damage. Finally the forums are in line with most of the views I relayed and projected to you all back then. Primaries are 'mostly' useless, Ability Spam is rampant and ruining the shootery aspects of D2, and the sandbox health is abysmal with limited build variety. There is little reason to engage the grind given the disparity of performance across weapons and builds. Variety is one dimensional. Retention non-existent. TFS did irreparable damage to this franchise via Prismatic, new weapon archetypes and new weapon perks, and the only way forward is either the studio shifting developers or a hard reset with Destiny 3. If you disagree in this moment, it's likely you disagreed with myself a year ago, but now share the same views regarding the aforementioned. In one years time, you will concur once again the issues I raise and the solutions I bring up are the only path forward.
