The recent change to allow slot specific exotic ornaments to be placed on your current exotic slot is a step in the right directions. These restrictions for exotic transmog should be removed entirely. You should be able place ANY ornament you’ve unlocked on exotics. Year after year you advertise new armor sets in game and Eververse but your Guardian will never be able to look like that in game while using any exotic armor piece.
