PvP only for Dawning? Nah, not participating
With PvP so plagued with cheaters, there should be a PvE option.

Its supposed to be a "fun mode and not taken seriously" but it really isn't, people just say that to excuse a bad mode. The moment I saw snowballs don't one hit on direct impact and full auto doesn't work I just don't care to play it. I'll probably have to go through at least the 8 or so matches to get the triumph for the title but I ain't going to play it past that, I wouldn't be surprised if people just AFK this mode tbh.

It's not proper pvp though, no abilities/supers, no meta weapons ... just a good old snowball fight. Give it a try it's fun and if you come across any sweats, just giggle. 🤭

I’ve played a few rounds…it’s just a bit of fun…and the loot is plentiful. I did raise a question or two about the speed / headshot accuracy + kill count, of one or two SUS creatures…mad to even think it…but it was very noticeable in deed! 🧐 Aside from that, it’s a bit of a team-shooting event - if ‘winning’ is what drives ya!? Otherwise, have fun! 🤩 That is all. Ease Things! 🖖👻

2 RisposteThere is only one quest step to do pvp and then it is just whatever you want. I hate pvp too, but one game of throwing snowballs is nothing. Annoyingly it has to be Supremacy, but still just 1 game.

3 RisposteIt’s not PvP only. You get Dawning rewards track progress for doing any portal activity, including all PvE, same as with solstice. Looks to be around 5 activities per level once again. There’s also distorted dawning engrams dropping for all daily focus portal activities (the ones with extra loot), and in both the fireteam and arena vanguard ops playlists.

Has the dawning ever had a pve activity? Sparrow, aka Hovering Snowmobile, Racing is it. Bungie has -blam!- the bed consistently year after year with this! Disable the use of skimmers (because someone will find a way to cheat / chz) and all will be good!

1 RispondiI haven't played pvp for years but it's a snowball fight and it's pretty funny. It takes 5 minutes and you get showered with loot. You could always go afk.
