With how much flying in and out we have to do on the lawless frontier being able to change our armour or weapon mods on the flight to and from would make sense logically but someone made the flight cutscenes priority over our basic control of the game so you can’t change anything while stuck wasting time. I am sure the cutscenes designer is happy that everyone is constantly taken out of their menus and forced to enjoy the art but for the other 99.9999999999% of players after seeing the mini cinematic being able to change my guns and armour as I want in flight would be highly preferable. Because I check my bounties and such before I land so once deployed I might as well have a locked loadout because I want to do my prep when it makes sense not when I’m in the field.
