This is not worth the effort.
I don't understand why they make it so involved just to play a free game. I use Steam and is verified but apparently I have to create yet another stupid redundant profile because it doesn't recognize the Steam account that is Verified...... So I am just going to say goodnight Gracey and file 13 the whole thing. Bungie Destiny and anything else I run across.
