same thing happened to me. i was mixing in pvp with solo ops. i stuck with pvp for a bit until master became a bit easier. you need a good build. its elitism. they are making this game for the top 10 percent. they dont even care about losing money. i saw on a stream where one guy said if you want the rewards you will perform! at 300 master is the hardest so it will get a bit easier. this game is only for elites. casuals are not welcome. all these people will lose thier jobs. as long as you can get a c+ or b in pvp you are fine. if you level up pvp rank to legend you almost always get a b grade even if you lose. i can barely finish master now. i dont know how i am going to be able to handle grandmaster. i go for c+ or b in solo ops because i am not getting a. some are just not good enough. bungie does not care nor do they want you playing their game. skywatch is easier than the other solo ops just watch out for the 100 snipers. fireteam ops is a option but sometimes your other teamates will fail too. master and grandmaster should not be used for leveling. now they require you to do hard content all the time. they are so out of touch with their players. creation can be a bit easier if you shoot the diamonds in one spot there are 11. you stay on the platform and shoot all diamonds. you need to be able to heal all the time .
