And no I don't mean with eager edge, shoulder charge or other in-game mechanics
They are typing in cheats to be able to damage other players in PvE environments
I hope Sony cleans this up, but they themselves have notoriously bad network security

This is hard cheats, likely a guy whos name begins with K who cant be mentioned here. BattlEye is a joke anti cheat and bungie no longer has a security team. You can also kill players in pve and even crash the game of everyone in your lobby with just network manipulation. Bungie is aware of this and refuses to take action(ticket ID 397685). This game is sinking even though it still has so much potential. Hopefully Sony sharpens their axe.

3 RisposteModificato da [SOVER3IGN^_-L0ST]: 8/11/2025 7:12:59 PMDamn, this is messed up. Destiny literally becoming a burning pile of garbage. If people with Mod menus now can do this, considering it’s a Peer To Peer connection, they probably can get your information easily now, maybe even modify your account so that you can’t log in to the game, delete your triumphs, your characters, your weapons. I bet someone will figure out how to do this eventually and start selling some crazy mod menus subs. Maybe even send players modified weapons while they in session with them that can deal million damage per second or some -blam!-. I had that happen to me long time ago when I was playing GTA Online on my PS3, cheaters were giving away billions of $ in the game to everyone and they would appear out of nowhere. Worst thing that happened to me, my couple thousands hour character was basically banned and rockstar couldn’t do anything. The account was active but I could not log in to the game. It would time out indefinitely. I still don’t know how, but someone just booted me from the session and since then I couldn’t log in. Modders and cheaters are the worst human beings to exist on this planet. If Bungie don’t do anything, it will grow in to a complete dumpster fire and game will become unplayable. Can you turn off cross-play with PC off? Edit: seems like you can disable Cross play. Nice.
