That's because when you hit 300 you have to slowly level up to 400 and once you hit 380 you have to do grandmaster in order to level up. Simply if you saw early access before the expansion came out you would know that they explained how you level up at a certain point you have to use harder modifiers to increase the challenge to get better rewards and at the same time you also have to complete the activity in the allowed time you have to complete the objective you have to make sure you get the highest score possible. It just seems to me that you're not having a glitch or anything you just don't know how the system works most people don't... You can clearly see I know what I'm talking about because I'm 416 and I'm guardian rank 9.... Just like once you hit 400 the only way to climb much further is to acquire prime gear and currently the prime drops are below 3% some people reported that they had to run 30 different activities just to get one prime drop I know this is one of the things that early access creators talked about to bungee that the progression to 450 from 400 is very bad and very slow. I know bungee feedback on that was we will see how it plays out and if something needs to be changed we will change it in other words unless streamers complain about it we don't care. Remember the same c*** happened with the warmind DLC Bungee didn't make any kind of major changes to escalation protocol until streamers complained about it even though they are the ones who told Bungie to make it harder at Bungie studios..
