Still getting micro stutters / frame skips
New hit fix today and still not word on the micro stutters and frame skips that everyone has been getting and I’ve been reading about. Bungie IF YOU SEE THIS PLEASE BRING BACK FULL SCREEN EXCLUSIVE!!!! PLEASE FIX THESE ISSUES!!!

Hey everyone….. look at your monitor refresh rate…. Guys… I have been having a horrible time with this issue… and I have FOUND MY FIX. Really hoping that it also works for all of you as well…. My computers default refresh rate was set to 60. I set it to the highest my monitor had (144) and my game looks better than ever Go to settings, system, display, ——> under related settings choose advanced display ——->select the correct monitor—— choose a refresh rate Since eof, your os default refresh rate now dictates the hertz of windowed games…. Whereas before exclusive fullscreen dictated it …. The great mystery

Same here! We need exclusive fullscreen back! I really don't understand why it was removed in the first place. People who wanted to play in borderless modes could already do so. Why don't you let the players decide which display mode they want to play in, Bungie?

We are in week 4 now after the expansion and those stutters are bugging a lot of users since day 1. We are also 3 patches later and still no fix. Bungie please acknowledge this problem. Check the forum, it's at least 50 percent of those topics.

@Bungie For the love of god. Acknowledge this problem please. There are so many topics about this, why is there no official response? Are you not aware. You acknowledge about the crashing problem, yes! But not about the microstutter which plague so many players, who paid for your product.

Bought and threw together a whole new pc like 3 weeks ago now with a 5080 / 14900k ( with correct settings for the CPU ) and this game has had an absurd frame time like It's not even funny. If I enable the steam overlay and look at the frame graph I can see my fps constantly jumping all the way Into the 30s In fps sometimes for the 1% lows, my average fps jumps from 157 ( which I capped It at ) to 130 everytime the 1% lows fall super low and It causes some Insanly annoying stutter and just an overall awful experience In smoothness. Bungie please for the love of god fix this, I love the game to death but you're making It harder and harder to stay positive.

Same but I'm not sure if simply bringing back FSE would fix it instantly. I had issues like this when TFS first dropped and it was eventually fixed around the end of Episode: Echoes. I'm not trying to muddy the waters, people should have the option for FSE if they want it, but the issue likely goes deeper than just FSE. I was using Borderless back in TFS and wasn't getting any stutters in Revenant and Heresy. Regardless the stuttering NEEDS to be fixed. Game is hard to enjoy and enter a flow state with as it is right now.
