I don't care for featured loot in general. We've got good reasons to use the new loot on its own; Tier 3 armor offers better stats than most of my old stuff; Tier 3 weapons offer more choices than most of my old stuff; let the new gear stand on its own, without artificially inflating its importance. Right now I feel like 9/10ths of my vault puts me at a disadvantage: A damage disadvantage, a damage reduction disadvantage, and a scoring disadvantage; and this season we need as many advantages as we can get. If I get a new weapon, I want to use it because it better suits my build, or my play style, or because it has better perks, not because it offers 4% more DPS against the bullet sponges and a 1.25x better score at the end of an event.
