Currently on Xbox, though I expect this is a server-wide issue. When playing in the final boss room of the "Conquest" Solo Ops activity, dying will lead to the player respawning back in the rooms off to the side, which is a turnback zone. The player then dies to the turnback unrelentingly, as there is not enough time to get [i]out[/i] of the turnback.
1. Load into Solo Ops: Conquest (my run was on Expert difficulty)
2. Complete the activity as normal until the final room is reached.
- 2.5. When running this, I was confused by the objective icon and at first, upon entering the side rooms before the final boss, ran in the opposite direction of the exit. This is where I spawned when I died.
3. Engage in the final boss. Damage to half health, when the boss shields.
4. Get killed by enemies that spawn in the room.
Expected result: the player should spawn in a safe location that does not hinder gameplay - either in a different area than the turnback, or in that area with the turnback boundaries changed.
Actual result: The player spawns in a turnback zone - the side rooms off of the boss room, without the time needed to exit said turnback. Video attached as example.
