Yeah, the culprit is the removal of dedicated fullscreen. I believe that they did not test this thoroughly. High-end setups are seeing ridiculous numbers, while low to mid setups are literally unplayable. I was playing with 60 fps on this older laptop, which was acceptable for me in my current situation. But now, regardless of the setting, I am barely reaching 30. It's weird that the highest settings with a high resolution and the lowest settings with 720p resolution result in the same fps. I tried everything that I could from my end, but it is obvious that something is broken on the game's side. I will not be trying to play the game with 20-something fps, getting myself crazy in the process, and I am barely holding myself from refunding out of respect for all those years in Destiny that I hold dearly.
