Why do you think you should rankup now when you haven’t yet completed all the triumphs? You will be rank 7 until you finish all the triumphs for rank8.

When a new Season/Episode begins your Guardian Rank will continue to be [i]displayed[/i] as the highest Rank you achieved during the previous Season/Episode, however if it was greater than Rank 6 your [b]actual[/b] Rank for the current Season/Episode will be reset to 6. You will then need to complete requirements to earn back the lost Ranks in order to prevent your [i]displayed[/i] Rank from dropping down to a lower value. Having completed the requirements listed under the Rank 7 tab has ensured your displayed Rank will be at least 7 once the current Episode ends. The page shown in the provided screenshot displays the requirements you will need to claim to reach Rank 8. (΄◉◞౪◟◉｀)
