Solo queue PVP matchmaking does not work correctly. To start I am not a good PVP player, I am okay. If I queue with anyone else (duo or larger) my matches are perfectly okay, fairly balanced. Even when I queue with players that are significantly more skilled than me, matches are still balanced. Anytime I solo queue, the matches are absolutely terrible. It is like the matchmaking system thinks I am way better than I am. Like I am not a bad PVP player, but I also should not be the best player on my team so often. Clearly your matchmaking system does not work for me. Since Final Shape, my Elo on DestinyTracker has been so low that I am lower than their Bottom 1% category in most PVP modes. When rewards are disproportionately tied to winning it is annoying to be constantly put in losing games. Once it becomes obvious that my team is going to lose or get mercied, I just leave the match. It is better for me to re-queue than stay and get farmed. You need to really look into how matchmaking works, clearly I am part of a player population that is not being correctly placed in matches. If I am bad at PVP, put me in matches with people that are my skill.
