Deterministic Chaos is hit-scan anti-barrier weapon and any anti-barrier hit-scan weapon (including under Radiance) can pierce through shields, like Hydra's shields. But not Deterministic Chaos, it can't. It shows correct VFX on the impact, but bullets do not go through.
