Bug: Class item causing flickering
In my original post I've talked about a visual bug which makes a lot of game affects flickering. This is fairly annoying especially when there's a lot of effects in Destiny. After constant testing / driver updating "reinstalling etc... " I have managed to narrow down the culprit. And that is new exotic class item. I don't know how or why it causes it but its causing it.

In the vids I am wearing exotic class item and this flickering is noticeable. I tested flickering on EDZ with 1 public event where Cabal sends a mining drill. With Exotic class item a lot of smoke effects from landing pods are flickering. Once I unequipped the exotic class item flickers on smoke effects didn't occurred.
If a longer video is needed to demonstrate this bug, I will record it, and attach to this post.
Platform: Steam
My PC Spec:
Gpu: Gigabyte RX 5700
Cpu: Ryzen 5 3600
Ram: 32gb ddr4 3600mhz
Os: Windows 10 pro 22h2

Year later, and this issue still remains, now it even triggers on while using Prismatic Subclass, Principle is the same, smoke effects, ammo, abilities, other effects on new destination Keppler effects on big beacons, all is annoyingly flickering

I can add to this as well, I'm glad I'm not the only one experiencing this bug! I did not realize that the exotic class item was the cause. I had been adjusting video settings for days to try and get rid of the flickering. Video of the flickering: https://imgur.com/a/8KK1uyH My usual go-to for testing it is by spawning it at The Landing in The Pale Heart and finding a wizard. I'll go up close, wait for the wizard to throw down a poison smoke and the flickering will manifest itself there. However, it becomes more evident in rooms with lots of effects going on. 1 RispondiHi again, what specific perk combination do you have on your exotic class item? If you have multiple versions of the item with different perk combinations, does the flickering occur when you wear all of them?
