Controversial suggestion… but hear me out. For the next game, include the possibility to have an AI Bot that you can tailor to focus on agro, providing cover fire, or dps support. You only get one and you can select the bot’s class and build them up. In concept it would be a combination of Nier: Automata’s Pod 042 support and Dragon’s Dogma pawn. This would eliminate a problem for solo players who don’t use the LFG or finder and would rather play alone but want to have a fighting chance in dungeons/raids. Simply add them to the story as some sort of reanimated body without a ghost, or something… a Phantom Guardian, if you will.
