In the latest TWID it’s mentioned that matchmaking manipulation with Smurf accounts and third party tools is and will be a bannable offense. I agree with this and fundamentally dislike cheaters. I’m curious on whether this includes utilizing a VPN. Living in a VERY remote region of the world I find that I typically have to use one in order to simply make it past the menu screen to connect to the servers. It doesn’t seem to do much in terms of matchmaking for me though because I still get mongoose matchmaking errors. Will using a VPN become a ban able offense now? I just don’t want to catch a stray ban because I have an unfortunate internet situation.
