I feel dumb. Ascendent Challenges
Ok. So, I am finding it impossible to complete an ascendent challenge. I have tried just about everyone and die immediatley upon facing the knights. Any pointers. I have yet to complete one.

Asking questions is you being smart and curious. It's never dumb to ask. Some of the responses you get, though, well... I've only done one of these as part of some quest line or another. It was the one with the blights. Once you kill the blights, the knights are no longer immune, so just blast them to pieces then. I only play hunter so I can't help with other classes, but I'm pretty sure you can breeze through it with a decent ad clear, a shotgun or fusion for any yellow bars, a big hitter heavy, and a spell-type (not roaming) super. I was running an invisible melee hunter (Assassin's Cowl,) I imagine Graviton Forfeit would also be trivial. P.S. Don't give in to the school bullies. Some of them never outgrow their teen mentality.

1 RispondiThanks to those that offered advice. Seems to me that my inability to figure this out makes me an idiot to some. Wasn't bait, just hoping to figure out if I was missing something about the ASCENDANT challenges. Been playing, casually, for years and now I just avoid the stuff I must be to inept to accomplish. I truly am one of those that just get upset and stop playing. I just recently decided to try and use the forum for advice. I don't stream, I don't have a fire team and I don't play to die I play to have fun and relax. Congrats to all who find it all too easy to be concerned with. Not this guy, I'll just continue to go without certain loot. And play Vanguard, gambit, and repeat missions until new material comes out. So that I don't trigger to many others, I'll avoid the forums from now on as well, I guess.

Conditional finality works great for the knights, and a sunbracers build clears out all the ads. It’s also great for lighting up the whole map.

1 RispondiYes, the knights one hit you, that's their mechanic, you're not supposed to face them, you escape from them and grab the orbs, when all orbs are installed go to the middle area and it will grant you infinite super, that's when you fight them

Depends on which one it is. Under half of them, you can just ignore them.

You should try completing the ASCENDANT challenges chief. Guaranteed that you will complete the ones in game since there's no such thing as ascendent.

6 RisposteUhm... Unless there's something wrong with ur body parts or capability to think. You can ignore the knights in most of them. If the objective is to kill a knight there's one which let's you spam supers, and one that asks you to kill a single one. Each ascendant challenge at this point of the game should not be hard at all. If this post is bait then it got me ngl.

Osteo Striga, blinding nades. Usually those challenges are more goal oriented. Just complete the objective and survive at all costs. They are hard at first, but you get the hang of it after a while I guess.
