Negative Modifiers in Match Made Activities and Lone Wolf Players
I know it's only week one...out of 26...but I am really enjoying The Coil Seasonal activity. However, the negative modifiers are sometimes points of contention when in a match-made group. I understand you can't design against all the variables with randomly match-made players, but I think the 'drifting apart' negative modifier is especially punishing in this activity.
Now, one could argue that it's part of the 'challenge', but I don't find it fun chasing down a teammate who doesn't want to revive me or play by my side when this is the active modifier. Sure it becomes a completely different game of chase my teammate to not die? Still not what I want to play at the moment. Maybe consider increasing the radius of where the buff reactivates or make it so that we have to play apart. The combat challenge is pretty decent and might be a funny twist, forcing players to play apart from each other—perhaps even start losing life if too close to teammates.
That's all, a relatively short one from me. Have more fun with what these modifiers are and do, and consider lone wolf players in some instances. As we know, these are Destiny 2 players always wanting to optimize a run by zooming through it.
