This Game is Awful
Let's see...
There have been multiple instances of the game breaking just because of the weekly reset.
Even more instances of the game being down for hours upon hours.
Every. Single. Day. Getting disconnected from the servers yet every error code essentially blames the players for it. We all know these servers are completely broken.
A new exotic drops that either doesn't do what it says it supposed to or it's actually pretty good only to get deactivated until they can nerf it.
Quests that cannot be completed because they add steps you can actually complete before you even get to that step. Case in point, people getting stuck collecting kindling during Solstice because they've already collected it all.
Playing a game in Crucible, one of the worst experiences in the game, and actually getting kills and even being on the winning team... Only to not get credit for it.
Right now, the new Solstice armors, weapons, ship and emblem don't get added to your collections. So, if you discard the ship or emblem, you cannot get it back. If you want to turn the armors into ornaments, you can't.
Then, on a broader scale, the game still has no real story or substance. Everything is still being made-up as they go. Seasonal content gets burned out after the first couple weeks. Lackluster rewards especially for the amount of time you're meant to dedicate to this game to get any of it. Every new destination is the exact same thing where you've seen all the interesting stuff during the campaign then you never go back there unless it's part of a quest.
Did I miss anything? Seriously, I wasn't even one week into Lightfall before I felt INSTANT regret purchasing it. I just wanted to play with my friends but, f**k, even most of them are utterly burned-out on this game. If I had waited until it was on a huge discount like I did for The Witch Queen then I probably wouldn't have purchased it at all. And I am absolutely doing that for Final Shape. Gonna play the...ha ha ha..."free" version to see if it might be worth it. If it is, wait for the price drop. If it isn't, which I am totally banking it won't be, then I can save myself the headache of wasting time and money on this steaming pile of hot garbage.

Honestly I think you just need to get on with your life. If you hate the game so much then stop playing and idk play something else. I get that yeah the game still needs to improve but take your hate out of hear I enjoy the game so I don’t care what you say/think.

I’ve gotten more high roll exotics this season than playing collectively for years. They drop like candy on Halloween. Solstice? It’s a free event and it’s an easy armor farm for newbs. D2 story has never been the reason people play but instead the best gunplay and movement you can find in gaming. PvP is secondary part of D2. I’m not sure what credit you’re looking for in matches. Sounds like maybe you need a break.

Great post… I didn’t know about the ghost/ship/ armour delete thing…. I’ve burned two out of three, I’ll collect some armour sets . Folk disagreeing and pointing out minor faults in your post are just plums, it’s the gist that is real.

33 RisposteI’ve played 1 day in this season. All I see in the forums every single day is posts about the servers dying. My last play session was a VoG learning group almost two months ago and the servers kept dying and everyone kept disconnecting and I have been reluctant to pick up the game since. Lightfall is the worst technical, story and gameplay state the game has ever been in its entire existence

12 RisposteSorry, but all of this regret is on you for ignoring the red flags this business was waving in your face. The thing is, most of these issues and a hell of a lot more have been happening for years but more so these last 4 years and you ignored them. Let me guess, this is the only game you play, and think "There is nothing that compares to it" right? Again, sorry, but there are much better games out there than this one, it's just a matter of you being willing to play other games to see what's actually out there.

It's broken right now. I cannot even run two minutes of a strike and I'm kicked with the cute zoo animal names. Not my connection for the truly Kool aid drinkers. 896 DL 35.6 UL. Console has all of the ports done and the best part is I can play any other game in my inventory with ZERO lag or errors..... Imagine that.

Regardless of what anyone on here says including myself the game is fun and addicting. Not that there aren't numerous issues that they don't seem to give a crap about. Would be nice if a company that wants to keep it running would take over. Every single time a cheating POS in pvp does something rather than just prevent it's use in pvp they just take it away from everyone... Real smart if you're an idiot. I don't play PvP very often as it's a total -blam!- show with so much cheating it's not even worth the anger. PvE is okay but builds are destroyed because of the cheating pvp POS that gets everything turned off. Not much to do anymore but I still play daily just because I like the game even in it's pathetic state. I still chase weapons and catalyst just to have them and complete them. Maybe when the sad -blam!- new PvP game drops and flops they will actually put some effort into the bread and butter that is Destiny. Or even better they sell it to a better company.

There’s a lot wrong with this game but there’s slot right too. For all the wrong and unfun in this game; I believe the fun in the game out weighs the unfun in all honesty. As in life nothing is perfect; you have to just get on with it. So many game modes and things to do in this game; find the one you enjoy and go with that.
