I've been a player since the launch of Destiny 1 and have only taken a few season long breaks in my time playing the franchise. I've always had my gripes about peer to peer connectivity and I've generally kept a finger on the pulse of the broad PVP issues (I.E. weapons/exotics/abilities that are overperforming, skill based vs connection based matchmaking, etc.). In spite of all the crazy and dumb things that can happen season to season I've generally enjoyed myself but this season is sending me around the twist. The connection in matches seems so bad for me that I honestly don't even know how I should modify or better optimize my playstyle because I can't even tell how or why I'm losing duels. It feels like all I can do is put on the most meta weapons and hope that my ping gifts me more kills. Is this just me or is Destiny 2 PVP finally hitting a point where it's "unplayable" ? Am I the only one experiencing this?
