So I decided to try and farm the vex incursion event for the new hunter exotic arms this season. I should preface by stating I have attained all other exotic armor pieces on my hunter. The frequency of the vex incursion event is abysmal - I have resorted to using twitter bots and discord bots to notify me when an event is about to go live. After an 8 hour hiatus the event finally was available - i duly loaded into Neptune and demolished the event in about 10 mins with the help of some other guardians - what was my reward? Stomp-ees… I jumped on the forums and discover there is a known bug that vex incursion is not dropping the new seasons exotic armor pieces… typical. So back to lost sector farming I go. I try Aphelions rest on second attempt I score Shinobu’s vow… before I bother with this anymore can anyone actually confirm if they have received the new hunter exotic gauntlets from this particular lost sector is it bugged also? Despite all the promises from Bungie it seems like the relatively poor experience of soloing lost sectors in a team based game is the only way currently to farm this seasons exotic armors. Getting rather tired of all of this tbh.
