"Error Code: Monkey" Returning Player
So I redownloaded D2 after not playing for a few years.
Saw I could keep my old characters but anytime I load in, the game is fine until I kill an enemy. At this point I get sent back to the hub with "error code: monkey".
Tried replacing my old gear with new items but no luck - same error.
Don't really want to start again with a new character and by the looks of the forum I'm not the only player with this issue...

I am having the same issue after doing a cross save. I want to play the game but I have no idea if I should disable cross save until it is fixed or not because of the 90 day wait period to re enable the cross save.
