"Error Code: Monkey" Returning Player
So I redownloaded D2 after not playing for a few years.
Saw I could keep my old characters but anytime I load in, the game is fine until I kill an enemy. At this point I get sent back to the hub with "error code: monkey".
Tried replacing my old gear with new items but no luck - same error.
Don't really want to start again with a new character and by the looks of the forum I'm not the only player with this issue...

3 RisposteSame here! Stopped playing when the first DLC came out due to my high school exam. Now I want to pick up this game again. The only way to fix this is to start a new character and transfer all my inventory to the new character.
