Sounds more enjoyable and fair to me. Also goes against all that "gamble"-design with loot boxes, you know? Since we are getting so much bright dust from season passes and can earn it in low count via repeatable bounty completions and bounty milestones, we should be able to decide ourselves what we want to buy. When people can see what they can work towards in the store by doing bounties, they will be encouraged to play anyways, Bungie. You really don't need a weekly rotation for bright dust stuff, unless you want to do special offers. But yet again, we know your management executives won't give their consent on such changes, because they want to earn money, not make the players happy.
