A few months ago I noticed that while connected to Express VPN the Destiny 2 sign-in will not connect to the servers. Even with Destiny 2 and BattlEye setup to split tunnel and avoid the VPN, it will not connect. Only disconnecting the VPN for the whole PC will work, but it doesn't seem to mind that the Express VPN program still runs. Testing my connection over the VPN I have ~230Mbps down and 34.5Mbps up with ~170ms latency for all other games (none of which have problems with the VPN). What is going on here? Destiny used to be fine with the VPN but something changed and it doesn't work anymore. Everything I can find says that Destiny should work fine over VPN and reinstalling Destiny and Express VPN doesn't change anything.
