Change Bungie name from auto generated guardian number
Hi Bungie support! I am coming back to destiny after some time off (haven’t played since Shadowkeep) and i noticed my account name got changed to a generic “Guardian####” and when i attempt to change this to match up with my PSN gamer tag, I am told that i am only allowed one name change, but i did not authorize this first change to the auto generated name. Can anything be done to allow me to change my name? Thanks!!

1 RispondiMy friend thought it would be funny to change my name but it wasn't now I can't change it back I was just wanting my old name I really haven't played the game much since this happened because this name doesn't represent me and the name I chose

5 RisposteHello there[url=https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/902560216871239752/989591085506515074/Hellothere.gif],[/url] If your Bungie Name has been changed to "Guardian####", that indicates that some part of the name broke the [url=https://www.bungie.net/7/en/Legal/CodeOfConduct]Code of Conduct[/url] or the [url=https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/7648312251284-Bungie-Name-Guide]Bungie Name Policy[/url], was filtered, and [b]can no longer be used. You can try a different name if you have not previously changed it.[/b] If the system is not allowing more changes, there is no way to override it. Unfortunately at this time we are only able to change our Bungie Names once, regardless of if it was intentional, a typo, act of siblings, pets, or other errors… one shot is all we have. Bungie has not made any announcements of plans to allow further name changes.
