Gambit is inarguably the most Destiny-unique activity in the game.
The only thing worse than designers' straightforward neglect of [core activity] Gambit.. is their refusal to talk about it like actual humans.
Even a [i]gesture[/i] of transparency on the topic would be refreshing. Instead, we players (further demoted internally to "fans") get dismissive condescension, paired with tone-deaf comms about ..everything... From Bungie.

I submit Ubusofts Game The Division's "Dark Zone" , where players had to battle AI for loot, then battle each other to keep the loot , and it came out before Gambit It is not Destiny Unique, and PvEvP is not a Bungie exclusive, it has been around a while Furthermore it was outright rejected by the Destiny community who prefer to keep PvE and PvP separate
