We all know that competitive modes need an incentive to actually compete, a little badge won't cut it so I think now would be a great time to reintroduce the chroma cosmetics from D1. I suggest you drop 2 new armor sets for each class, and then make it so you unlock the glows for each armor piece by using them in ranked. That way we have something to grind for and people won't be able to finish the complete set immediately and be bored as hell. Once you unlock the base chroma set for that armor set, you can apply different colors from chroma consumables you earned from the playlist. I also think they should have a handful of weapons that can have chroma as well. As time goes on, more and more armor sets from across destiny can be updated to use chroma or they can drop new completely new armor sets. If it's new armor and wepon aesthetic and not actual op weapons, no one will have anything to complain about and weapons won't be power creeped like they were before with Lunas Howl and Redrixs.
