Making a new character- do I Lose veteran items
I've been curious for a while hearing all sorts kf answers. I've been thinking of making a new character as I feel like I wasn't thinking much when customizing my character, but I don't know if I lose my unlocked skins and veteran unlocks for my character, in this case, my hunter. If anyone has some insight to drop, I would love to hear about it as the last time I made a new character was back on Destiny 1 and there wasn't necessarily veteran items but I know there are in Destiny and I might lose them as I'm not sure it'd account wide

Anything available through your Collections tab (Ornaments, Shaders, Emblems, etc.) is tied to your account, not the individual characters. As such these items will remain available if you delete a character and make a new one. Obviously if you have a god roll weapon or armor drop on the character to be deleted you would want to transfer it into your Vault as any specific gear piece on a deleted character will likewise be deleted. In addition Quest and Storyline progress tied to a specific character will be lost and will have to be completed once more. And while I do not know for [b]certain[/b], I believe that subclass ability unlocks are [i]likely[/i] tied to specific characters meaning that if you delete one Class to remake it there’s a good chance you will have to unlock all Class Abilities again.
