Bungie's refusal/inability to condemn AFK macro XP botting cheapens everything about seasons
Here's where I'd type words to justify the title if any were needed.
People who level their character by ..playing the game.. are straight up wasting their time in comparison to those that circumvent occasionally mundane gameplay entirely.
By letting it happen season after season after season is just frustrating and also a bit insulting. Cut the grind or stop the cheese. It's a reasonable expectation.

People are tired of the bounty grind in order to access certain activities. More power to them. I didn't bother doing gms a couple seasons because grinding bounties gets old quick. Get rid of light level requirements for gms and master content and these afk bots will die down quickly.

I get where your coming from but....the season pass ranks don't matter you could play casually and get it done in a week or two if it really was that important I wish they'd take LL out more than anything

Thing is...you dont level your pass by "playing the game" You level it by spamming bounties in patrol etc.. Its not entertaining. As someone who only play in raids / dungeons / gm nightfalls Its really REALLY long to exp from there since a single random bounty from the EDZ gives more exp than killing the taken king. So i understand why many players just go afk. Its not interesting to spend hours spamming borring bounties

It’s not that big a deal. They don’t gain any real significant advantage or anything against other players and the humiliation they deserve for having such a high level after week one, for example, balances it out.

I genuinely couldn’t care less if someone used macros to grind their level.

Well Bungie made the game too sweaty. Sorry, today I will be standing at the back of the map forcing my team to spawn there while I dance in a Titan Bubble to get my 3/4 final challenge for Iron Lord title. Enjoy trying hard, I guess. Like Misery The Movie but it’s Destiny. 🤣
