Hello,
When helping my son create his Bungie account I accidentally used my gamertag instead of his. Is there a way I can connect his account/gamertag with Bungie so he can be a part of the community and combine his gameplay with Bungie?

You can just create a new Bungie profile using his. At the top select Create and use his login credentials instead.
