Can expansion purchases be ported from one platform to another?
Hi, sorry if this question has already been asked but I couldn’t find any mention of it.
I recently started playing destiny on Steam again after spending most of my time on Xbox. My crosssave worked and my gear carried over but my expansion purchases didn’t. The game doesn’t recognize that I own witch queen or the 30th anniversary. I still have access to the season pass though which is odd
Is there a work around or will I need to see if I can run destiny through the Xbox app instead?

No they don’t because the expansion license is issued by the platform you are on. The platform(Xbox) is getting the money for the purchase not steam so they aren’t going to let you play for free on their platform. Any in game purchases where bungie gets the money is able to be cross saved and used across platforms, like seasons
