Weapon crafting is a great concept, but could obviously be a lot better. I also think many players would LOVE to see their beloved vaulted weapons come back, including old sundial weapons, black armory weapons, or even old raid weapons. It would possibly take some of the sting off of weapon grinding for many and even help alleviate some of the pain of sunsetting. I’d personally love if we reintroduce one of the legacy playlists each season (menagerie, the forge, sundial, possibly even introduce one of the old raid encounters as a 6 man activity) and was able to earn back one of the weapons lost to sunsetting. Let us grind out some old weapons to craft and fall back in love with. It would also give more life to the loot pool and incentivize more weapon crafting. It would be a win for everyone and would generate a lot of interest in the community. It may not be a perfect fix, but please Bungie. My Blast Furnace is calling out to me.
