Why do people hate Shaw Han so much?
He's not my fave character but I don't think he deserves all that hate... I think he was just created to guide the new/returning blueberries through the New Light quest [i](and also being a key character for Gjallarhorn quest)[/i], I don't see anything bad on that.
Probably we haven't seen the true potential of Shaw Han as character yet.
But well, where is the hate coming from?

3 RisposteI think it's because he's so plain with 0 depth. In others words, bungie spent thousands of dollars making a new character/vendor who serves little purpose and has nothing interesting about him. Plus his dialog is annoying, especially the radio dialog on Europa. Personally I think rather than make retconning Saint and Osiris as gay lovers they should have made Shaw a new gay character and had his lover be one of his fireteam members who died by Navota. It would have made his much better as a character and added depth.
