Aurash Proto-hive became king changing her name to oryx the taken king navigator father of Crota and is hive along with sathona (savathun) queen of lies and deception and xi ro (xivu arath) the goddess of war and that is the three hive gods of the osmium court.

Taox and The Osium King aren't hive. The are Krill, A.K.A., proto-hive. They don't have worms.

The Osmium King, Taox and Sylok are not Hive Gods. Just Oryx and his sisters. People are choosing Oryx for nostalgia sake. But honestly Savathûn and Xivu are both building up to at least sound and feel way cooler than Oryx.

Only she could break free from her worm(even after all his accomplishments, Oryx was just a slave to a parasite). She achieved a stable connection to the light through a ghost and created an army of light baring hive, something even Ghaul could not do.

Her will overpowered Osiris's light who according to our ghost is one of the most powerful guardians ever. Just imagine what she can do in person. I like that she is the hive god of war. I also like her concept art in the trailers. A black knight who weilds a great sword. Edit: The art is a fanart but was used by bungie in the trailers

I just wish he got treated better with the in game story. Bungie gave him 2 lines of dialogue that you can barely understand, and an incredibly short story campaign with no cutscenes. They did him so dirty.

3 RisposteOryx was a navigator and Taken King. Xivu drove Oryx away by infiltrating the throne world... Savathun found the throne world and convinced Xivu to invade... Going with Savathun for the trickery. Oryx was fearsome, no doubts there, but is also dead because he overextended himself into our territory.
