Will Bungie enable Proton support for Destiny 2?
BattlEye has confirmed that they will be supporting the steam deck and making their AC engine available for use on Linux natively and through Proton, should the developers opt-in to it.

I'm dropping Windows at year's end, so it's a good thing I didn't buy Lightfall. I will miss the game but there's always YouTube.

2 RisposteBungie has made no announcements regarding Destiny 2 coming to the Linux platform. Alternatively, a player can play D2 today without risk of banning on Linux if they play using the Stadia service. Stadia works on iOS, Android, Linux, Chromebooks, Macs, and Windows.

Bungie has made no announcements on Steam Deck support, but that is likely the reason they moved to BE from their in-house anti-cheat solution.
