Vex has gone in a direction that all exotic primaries need to go in.
Since vex was buffed it has become very apparent that exotic primaries can be VERY viable in pve content. What we need is changes to other primaries that equal the buff to vex, especially the ones that see no use at all. Just a small list of primaries that are just not remotely viable and could see some similar buffs:
- wishender
- jade rabbit
- Monte Carlo
- cryosthesia
- Polaris Lance
- SKYBURNERS OATH (x100 please ;_;)
Others not mentioned have utility like risk runner, Cerberus or malfeasance but I feel like adding champion mods could make them even more useful in end game pve.

I'm sorry, WHAT? All of those primaries you named except skyburners has a viable build in pve. Are they top contenders for raid dps, or grandmasters? Probably not, and they don't have to be. Vex is an example of overtuning to the point of being overpowered. If it weren't for particle decon it probably wouldn't be used much in pve. I don't care about most things in pve since just about everything can be used in pve, but in pvp Vex is almost just as oppressive as it was in early D1.
