In the most recent sandbox update, I was very happy with most of the changes. Nevertheless, I do feel like Fighting Lion reload speed nerf was a bit overdone. As an avid Fighting Lion user since 2018, I do believe that the weapon was very powerful (for those who took the time to learn it.) Its splash radius and damage were a tad too much for a primary weapon. The changes to these two aspects were warranted in my opinion. However, the reload speed nerf felt appalling to use in-game, especially in PvP. In Crucible, it's not too common to hit multiple opponents with one shot, so swapping to a clean-up weapon is essential. Contrary to the previous sandbox, I found this routine to be too rigid, allowing for little to no room for mistake. This causes the weapon to feel very clunky, even for a grenade launcher. Of course, this change can be reverted to an extent by using GL loader mods and Ophidian Aspects. Unfortunately, limiting yourself by using the exotic armor slot or 4-8 armor energy feels like too much to make an exotic weapon feel viable. This should be changed to allow the Fighting Lion to keep up with the meta. That's just my opinion, though. :)
TLDR: After the reload speed nerf in the recent sandbox update, the Fighting Lion feels too clunky and inflexible to keep up in PvP. This part of the nerf should be reverted/updated in my opinion.
